Construction Update Video. - Botanical Brighton
Our December quarter saw the making of a big hole in the ground as we set our foundations to launch Botanical Brighton into 2016!
Since the driving of concrete structural piles back in September, our team where able to complete all retaining walls, capping beam works, shotcreting and dig till their hearts content!
At nearly second level basement deep, we have installed deep excavation bracing members to prop the walls whilst works continue at around 6-7 meters deep into the earth. We will soon pour new concrete pads and locate all structural concrete columns within the basement, with a view of forming the ground level suspended slab.
Our next endeavour is to finalise all the finished floor levels for the basement including ramping, pour the concrete slab to the lower basement and continue with the shotcreting of walls, forming the entire basement shell.
With a sea of concrete, our big hole in the ground will soon be a passing memory, as the ground level slab is poured and focus is then placed on the super structure (body) of the building as we launch upwards in the new year.
We trust you enjoy this short video of Liberty Builders great team work on site and look forward to bringing you further updates as construction progresses into the first quater of 2016.
